ABOUT JANELLE

Janelle was born November 9th, 1978 in Fort St. John, BC. She had a wonderful time growing up there and moved to Grande Prairie, AB to attend College. Janelle enjoyed the busy and energetic atmosphere of GP so much, she decided to make it her home permanently and has lived there since 1998.

ABOUT SHANNON

Shannon was born October 27, 1976 in Fredericton, NB. He grew up in a small town called Blackville, NB, where he made many great memories. After College in Moncton, Shannon decided to take a risk and move out to Alberta. He has lived in Grande Prairie since 2002.

How We Met

We met when Janelle was looking for a quote on car insurance! She called the company Shannon worked at as a Broker, and was told she'd be put through to Shannon. Expecting a female to answer the phone, she was pleasantly surprised when a very cute-sounding guy answered! They both swear there was an immediate connection, OVER THE PHONE. After meeting in person to discuss insurance the connection was definite, although it took Shannon a couple of weeks to work up the nerve to call her and ask her out on their first date. Their first date was July 1st, 2003, when they went mini-golfing in Muskoseepi Park.
